How far in advance should I order?
Orders shall be placed at least 7 days prior to event date and are accepted based on availability. Larger orders and more detailed custom designs may require 2–4 weeks' notice. Rush requests may be considered based on availability and may incur an additional fee.
How do I secure my date?
Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a date. Once availability is confirmed, a 50% non-refundable retainer is generally required to secure the order. If inquiry is 7 days or less, payment is required in full.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
Yes! Beginning November 1, 2026, LoveLeigh Confections requires a $70 minimum purchase for all custom dessert orders. You're welcome to mix and match eligible desserts to meet the minimum.
Please note that delivery fees, if applicable, are additional and do not count toward the order minimum. Select seasonal preorder collections and tasting experiences may have separate minimum requirements.
Where is pickup?
Complimentary pickup is available at designated Harford County pickup locations. Exact arrangements are confirmed with the order.
Do you deliver?
Delivery is available by request. Pricing is based on distance, travel time and any requested setup.
Do you ship?
No. LoveLeigh Confections serves Maryland and surrounding area customers through local pickup and select delivery.
Do you provide dessert table setup?
Setup may be added to qualifying event orders. Unless specifically included in the proposal, clients should provide their own tables, linens, platters, risers and signage.
Are you a nut-free bakery?
No. LoveLeigh Confections is not a nut-free kitchen. Products are prepared using shared equipment and surfaces that may come into contact with common allergens. Please mention any allergies or dietary requests when you inquire so we can discuss your needs; we cannot guarantee an allergen-free order.
Can you copy a dessert design exactly?
Inspiration images are welcome, but designs will be interpreted in the LoveLeigh Confections style rather than copied exactly.
Do you make character cakes?
LoveLeigh Confections currently focuses on buttercream-forward, floral, textured and elevated celebration cakes rather than character cakes.
When is final payment due?
The remaining balance is generally due 7 days before the date of service, unless otherwise noted on invoice.
